Joy: I lead from my intentions.
Leading from my intentions is about sifting.
πSifting definition: The process of examining something thoroughly to isolate the most important elements.

I personally sift using a sieve that has three levels. In order of priority, they are:
π‘ People — Team, Organization, Customers, Vendors, and more
π‘ Process — Kaizen; Continuous Improvement
π‘ Product — Item for Sale/the Result of an Action or Process
When I look at my list, I identify the people involved. Then, I think of the impact (positive/negative) on the people.
Next, I hold a retro on the current process. Then, I wonder, what if and stay in possibility. The goal is to improve, which means being open to doing something new.
Lastly, I look at what was delivered. I then pose the question, is that the best I/we could do? If yes, move forward and look to improve. If no, be transparent about your role in the result and look to improve
